INDIA SLAPS PAKISTAN

As communication blockade enters Day 11, the situation in Kashmir remains the same. The Independence Day was celebrated in the Valley with no reports of violence on August 15. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) held a closed door meeting on India's decision to revoke Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. China has shown deep concern over the move after the meeting concluded. Earlier, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi formally called for an emergency meeting of the UNSC and said that India's decision was "illegal and against the UN resolutions". Further, terror outfits are seen regrouping with an aim to launch 'jihad' against India. The Pakistani authorities are now encouraging terror groups like Hizbul Mujahideen and United Jihad Council (UJC), headed by Syed Salahudeen to come over the ground in their bid to target India after the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A from Jammu and Kashmir.
